How DiffReview works
You paste a diff. An AI reads it like a senior reviewer would. You get the issues ranked worst-first, with concrete fixes. That is the whole product.
What you can submit
A pasted diff. The output of git diff, or any unified diff, up to 30,000 characters / 1,000 lines.
A public GitHub pull request link. We fetch the PR's diff from GitHub's public API — no login, no token, no permissions. Private repositories cannot be fetched, by design.
What the review looks for
Every finding is ranked by severity:
- Critical — will break production, corrupt data, or open a security hole.
- High — likely bugs, wrong logic, or serious security weaknesses.
- Medium — real problems to fix before merging: edge cases, error handling, performance traps.
- Low — minor issues worth a look.
Each finding names the file and line when the diff shows it, quotes the problematic code briefly, and says exactly what to change. Style nits are skipped unless they cause real bugs.
What the review does not promise
The review is advice, not a guarantee. The AI can miss real issues, and it can flag things that are fine. It does not promise your code is bug-free or secure. Always have a human review your code before shipping.
What happens to your code
Your diff is sent to the AI model once, the review is generated, and the diff is deleted. It is never stored, never logged, never used for training, and never viewed by a human. We record only counts and sizes: how many reviews ran, how big the diff was, how many findings came back at each severity. See the privacy policy.
What the AI runs on
Reviews run on Gemini 3.5-flash-lite, on the free tier. The quota is shared with another product on the same server, and that product's reports take priority — if the daily budget is exhausted, reviews pause until the next day and you are told so plainly. You are never charged for a review that fails to generate.
Pricing
One full review per day is free, no account needed. After that, one-time point packs: $9 for 20 reviews, $29 for 100 reviews. Points never expire. See pricing and the refund policy.
